Made from 100% recycled waste paper – for over three decades!
pro clima’s DB+ hydrosafe vapour check membrane based on natural building paper that is sourced 100% from waste paper has been on the market for over 30 years, without any compromises in terms of quality or performance!
It was sustainable long before everyone started talking about sustainability, and delivers efficient sealing of building envelopes while also setting high standards in terms of environmental protection and resource conservation. It incorporates a reinforcement mesh and has proven itself in service in combination with blown-in cellulose or wood-fibre insulation.
A small step for you, but a big plus for the environment
The use of recycled paper in DB+ makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. DB+ offers a number of advantages compared to conventionally produced airtightness membranes made from fresh fibre paper:
-
Conservation of forests: The use of waste paper has a positive impact on the preservation of biodiversity worldwide, as no additional trees need to be felled.
-
Climate protection: Production based on recycled paper saves on up to 15% of CO₂ emissions.
-
Resource conservation: Up to 70% less water and 60% less energy is consumed in the production process.
-
Waste avoidance: The upcycling of waste paper and board helps to reduce waste disposal. What’s more, recycled paper can be re-used up to seven times!
MOLL bauökologische Produkte GmbH is committed to the use of sustainable materials and the promotion environmentally friendly construction practices that create healthy, comfortable, efficient buildings. With DB+, we offer an ecological alternative for everybody who attaches equal importance to quality and environmental protection.
