Timber-beam house in Taylors Mistake, New Zealand
In his construction projects, architect Craig Jarvis always aims to create sustainable, affordable, off-grid solutions that deliver healthy living environments. When designing his own new home close to Christchurch, he decided to get hands-on and to conceive and build something very special.
For this unusual structure, he went all-in on pro clima’s EXTASANA ADHERO membrane and he was completely won over:
“ADHERO is quite amazing – the ability to stick on a building wrap just makes good sense. Piercing the building wrap with hundreds of staples, which you DON’T have to do with ADHERO, just seems stupid now. The pro clima gear is just good stuff. It works as it’s meant to and the place is bone dry.
The shape of the building made it hard to get products that would do the job well and be cost-effective. Finally, we have a solution that works and we were free to install it over 180 days, which was gold!”
